I currently owned a 5-room flat in AMK ave 9, interested to upgrade to condo near AMK (eyeing Calrose, Nuovo, Castle Green). My 5-room will reach MOP June 2011, outstanding loan $155K, combined household income 10k per month. Questions: 1) I am buying it for own stay, how much max loan i can get from bank? 2) how much downpayment required? breakdown of cash / CPF. 3) As i am buying for own stay, i am more to Calrose as it is FH, and at least the value of the property will not decline substantially when aging.. just to make sure i am right. 4) Based on my portfolio, what is the max property price i can afford?
