Hi Susan, As an expat tenant, your worries should be when will you be required to move out and how does it affect your existing tenancy agreement. It is not in terms of dollars and cents that will be significant to the tenant, since there is always a possibility of finding a cheaper alternative, but the intangible costs in securing a mover, packing up and taking time off work to do the shifting of apartments as well as viewing of apartments to shortlist your next accommodation. The usual en bloc process will take quite sometime to finalise and move on therefore if your concern is about these hassles, it is advisable to shortlist projects which are newer. Are you looking for rental in Singapore? Hope the above helps and should you require any further advise or assistance, I am probably just 1 call or email away. Have a great weekend ahead!
