We have a HDB resale flat now, MOP is expiring soon. We are thinking of buying a private property to stay in and renting out our current HDB flat. Can we do it? Any rules and regulations we need to take note of?

Hi Mrs Ng,
Yes, you can buy a property and rent out your HDB.
The only thing that you need to take note is the Property of your HDB will be 10% instead of the normal 4%.
