Usually, for these kinds of defects, the ordinary rule is caveat emptor which means "let the buyer beware". You have a duty to disclose such latent defects as failure to disclose may be construed as misrepresenting the state of the property. If you misrepresent the condition of the property, when asked by the buyer, then you may be liable to the purchaser for misrepresentation.
It is up to you if you want to replace the whole floor before selling as such defects may affect your selling price. Alternatively, you may negotiate with the buyer that you wish to leave it as it is so that the buyer can do it up to his/her taste.

It is true that many buyers will eventually hack everything and re-do.
It is also true many buyers walk out straight away after seeing a pop-up flooring.
I personally (for myself as well) would suggest that you have your contractor take a look at the affected spot. Likely you just need to rectify that affected spot and not the whole flooring...
Staging, appeal , etc are important as well, they will help in getting your property sold sooner than those that are less appealing.
