It will not be possible to do both sale & purchase at the same time, as a longer than usual time duration is required for the sale proceeds to return to you. You will probably need an interim housing option. May I know have you obtained the final judgement order? Thanks and hope to assist with your plans further.

By the way if we are able to time both transactions to perfection, you wont have to find temporary accommodation. But we cant do contra because divorce case usually takes slightly longer to complete so we have to request for extension of temporary stay from your buyers.

I would advise you not to consider juggling so many things all at once as you will require miminum 1 week for the CPF utilised for the current flat to be returned into your account before being able to utilise it for your next purchase.

Moving forward, in terms of managing timelines for HDB, it can get quite tricky in terms of extension as most HDB buyers would like to takeover possession as soon as possible in order to carry out renovations, therefore if you are looking at extension, they are likely to negotiate the price down.

Let's do it 1 step at a time and tackle on the getting a buyer who is willing to offer the right price to you first before we move ahead.
