The flats at Dawson (skyparc, skyville and skyoasis) have spectacular unblocked greenery views. And they're priced at a premium for those views. Unfortunately, according to the URA masterplan, the greenery will likely be cleared for a maximum 26 storey building. Anyone able to share how long more before this happens and how will this impact the prices of the flats? I'm keen on the units there but fear sinking my funds into an asset that will depreciate exponentially once the forest is cleared. Any other views similar to what is at Dawson but protected? Thank you in advance!

Hi,
Paying above the odds for properties facing open space in Singapore is like taking a big gamble. You got to study the URA Masterplan and see what is coming up. Do not get carried away.

If in doubt, do consult a trusted property agent who knows how to read Masterplans.There are more than 30k property agents in SG and not everyone knows how to decipher the Masterplan.
