My mother had just sold off her HDB flat recently. She is already 66-67 years old and single as my father had passed away. Can I (her daughter) purchase a resale HDB flat using my money to pay up the full cost but the resale HDB unit shall be under my mother's name and I intend to live with my mother together with my family. I am also having a private condo at this moment.

Morning MT,

Under the HDB regulation, there's no age restriction to the purchase of HDB resale unit, as long as your finanical ability is there.
I would assume that you are paying for the resale unit via cash, as your mother is not eligible for housing loan, due to her age.

Hi MT,
Yes, you can buy a resale HDB under your mother name. However, please note that you can only use cash to pay for her.

As long as the HDB is not under your name, you don’t have to dispose your private property.

Hope I had answered your question.

Feel free to contact me if you required any assistance.
