My EA unit (131m2) in the North region will be available for sale once it meets the Min Occ Period within 6 mths time. I got intention in mind 1) Sell off the unit and get downgrade to a smaller HDB 4/5 rooms in East/Central. 2) Will it be a better option to get a 2/3 room private property in those regions of abt 600K , however not for investment?

Evening Mr. Man,

Are you looking for resale unit? If so, to get resale 2 or 3 bedroom EC at $600k, it's almost impossible. Downgrading to 4 or 5 room flat is quite viable, depending on which estate you are looking at.

Hi Mr Man,

What are your needs in terms of space? Do you have a need to sell and buy the next property or are you looking at cashing out or upgrading?

To be honest, cashing out maybe a more viable option and purchasing a smaller resale such that you can free up some cash for other investments.
