Yee you can do contra, provided the flat you are purchasing is not doing contra and the one buying your flat is not doing contra as well.

Hi,

Yes, you may do contra in your purchase dependent on the following conditions:
(1) Your buyer not doing contra
(2) Your seller not doing contra

However, I also need to keep you aware there is a 'Right Sizing Policy' will be imposed once you apply for Enhanced Contra service.

Right Sizing Policy works this way:
(1) If you cash proceed is above $50k, 50% of the cash will be used to reduce your next HDB loan.
(2) If you cash proceed is below $50k, you are able to keep $25k, the balance of the cash proceed shall be used to reduce next HDB loan.

e.g.: Your cash proceed is $49k, you are allowed to keep $25k, $24k will be used to reduce your next HDB loan.
Your cash proceed is $100k, $50k will be used to reduce your next HDB loan.
