Likelihood of you securing something decent will probably be from direct from developers, for the quantum you are working on is on the lower scale of investment and I must say that most salesperson ourselves will likely be able to afford such properties at least on joint ventures if not purchasing alone. That is 1 big advantage of being in this industry ourselves as we have first hand information on such deals. I have met a landlord this morning and we had a casual discussion about his property that if he is looking to rent his apartment out for a lower than market rate, he can jolly well do it on his own and save up in paying out commissions. By paying out commissions, the whole rationale is to sell at a premium.
I believe that for most of the developer sales, they have carefully selected units of various value and priced it as a starbuy unit therefore those will probably be good for your considerations.
