It is interesting to find out that a low floor in Punggol low floor (1-5 floor) is valued 498k and transacted at 556k, with COV of 58k. This is based on HDB website. This block is 171C, 5I. Seriously, this buyer must be either crazy or simply love some of the house elements...

Hi Punggolite,

It is no surprise to find out such transacted figures. Depending on the buyer's budget and requirements, as long as the house's condition suits the buyer, they'll have no qualms in putting up the offer. As you have mentioned, it could be the renovation and fittings of the unit that buyer fall in love with and we'll never know what is so special with the unit until we witness for ourselves. As I've mentioned in my previous replies, transacted figures are never a good point of reference accurately.
