Hi,

Yes you can purchase resale flat with your malaysian spouse under non citizen spouse scheme. She must have a valid long term visit pass of at least 6 months.

I believe you have posted previously. As previously mentioned, your parents are considered one family entity. If you were to include her name (mum) in your HDB purchase, they will need to sell away their current hdb. She can't just transfer her ownership to her dad because there's no scheme your dad will be eligible with to qualify and keep the hdb on his sole name. Hdb will not approve the transfer.

Actually, it may be beneficial if you purchase with your wife only, perhaps a bigger flat to accommodate the parents. They can then rent out their flat to secure their retirement.

You are not eligible to own a property with your mum only. Your dad will be required as the essential occupier, at the ear minimum. This would also mean that they will have to sell away their current unit.
In order to purchase a unit with your partner, you will need to SC where you can purchase under non-citizen spouse scheme.

Good morning buyer,

You are eligible to purchase a resale flat under non citizen spouse scheme if you are a Singaporean.

Do take note that only your income will be taken into consideration for this scheme.

Moreover married couple are considered as single entity and decoupling is not allowed for hdb anymore thus if you want to include your mom into the purchase application, they have to sell off their existing flat.

If not, you can consider to purchase a bigger resale flat with them.
