Hi,

It will depend on how long will you be overseas. Approval for rent will be on a case-by-case basis.

I have encountered a real life case whereby HDB approves to rent for the first 2 years, but subsequently rejects an extension after the 2 years. Hence, the owner will have to leave the unit vacant while he was overseas.

Depending on the period you will be overseas, I may have a better suggestion for you to consider.

I am experienced and well-versed in both HDB and private transactions. I will be able to assist you in your property plans.

Should you need require further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305 . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you in the current market.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Robbie Chen

Hi, the HDB approval is on a case to case basis. Some got it while others were being rejected.
