Evening Nancy,

Some 5 room flats comes with 4 bedroom, hence you will be eligible to rent out three of it while staying in the fourth. However, if you have not fulfilled you MOP and your unit have only 3 bedrooms, you can only rent out two bedroom instead of three.

Hi Nancy, the correct term would be you are allowed to rent out all the rooms except for one that you would need to occupy it. Pls feel free to let me know if you need any assistance.

Any HDB flat not fulfilled 5 years MOP cannot rent out entire flat. You can only rent out 2 room of the 3 rooms in your flat.
