I have just signed the Option to Purchase and handed a cheque of 5% for a newly laucned condo. But now I have an eye for another condo which I am more interested. I have told the agent not to deposit the chq yet. Can I cancel the option to purchase without incurring any penalty?

Hi Sandy

Nope you can't, as the agreement has already been signed. But if you insist, you still can back off but you will only be refunded 75% out of the booking fee which you paid.
