Dear Sir/Mdm, Thanks for your post in Propertyguru. There are no seller stamp duties involved for you and normal stamp duty for the purchase will apply. As for the timeline, it usually takes 3-4 months for the whole transaction to complete. I will suggest we can meet up for a non obligatory discussion and I can share more with you. I can also better advise you on the timeline. Another thing we need to do will also be to calculate your sales proceeds from the sale and how do we purchase the next one. As you are doing both together, we will have to be very meticulous in calculating the timeline for a smooth transaction for both selling and buying. Dear sir/madam, For your scenario, you will only be paying normal buyer stamp duty. Depending on the reference point of time, supposedly from the day your buyer exercises the Option To Purchase to buy over your property and do immediate submission for resale application, the time frame is likely to be at least 10 weeks to complete the sale. This time frame does not include the preparation, marketing and viewing of your unit. Are you eligible for enhance contra facility or you will be opting for bank loan? The time management for such process will be critical if you do not have alternative accomodation in between the sales and purchase.
