As you are well aware, whenever there is a new launch in the area, prices will generally climb.

End of the day, whether your property can be sold as a certain price is largely dependent on the other person who is willing to purchase it. Due to the huge publicity we generate from marketing the project, we might be able to find someone who is willingly to the price that you reqiure.

Yes, market is soft currently, but there are still keen buyers looking around for investment. Soft market does not means no transaction at all.

Around netwon area for $1700psf+ is sellable. It also depends on what is the rental yield of your unit, as you didn't mention, that will arouse the interest of buyers.
