I am buying a resale hdb. And have option to purchase. Do I need to request for valuation for resale hdb if I'm not taking any loan and not using cpf monies?
If yes, at which point must I request for the valuation? After I exercise my option or before?

Hi,

1) You do not need to submit any valuation request if buying with full cash.
2) You may exercise your option on the spot together with your option deposit.
3) You may also submit your resale application at the same time. But do discuss with the seller before doing this as the seller will has to submit for resale application within 7 days once you had done so.
4) Check with the seller whether they had made their next housing arrangement to avoid complications to this purchase.

No, you do not need to request for a Valuation if you're not taking a loan or using CPF monies. You are free to exercise the OTP immediately too. There is no need for you to wait 21 days before exercising.
