I am a PR currently own a HDB resale flat for 5 years. I want to sell it and buy another one.
Is it considered as my 2nd property and pay the additional 10% stamp duty? or only 5% since i am only buying after i sold my flat?

Hi,

since you are buying after you have sold, you ABSD will be 5% instead, as at that point it is considered your 1st property purchase. But may I know what are you considering to buy? If its upgrading to a condo, the timelines have to be managed carefully otherwise you might need to rent for a short term. May i understand your housing requirements further and value-add?

You will be subject to 5% ABSD on top of the estimated 3% buyer's stamp duty.
