I am 75 years old and just sold my 5 room HDB flat. I would like to buy another flat. Is there any restriction on the type of flat I could buy? Is there any other matters of concern if could pay the purchase with cash?

Morning Kevin,

Given your age, you would have withdrawn all your proceeds without repaying a cent to CPF board. You have also exceeded the recommendable age for mortgage loan. If you are paying your upcoming purchase with cash, I would not foresee any issues if all falls within your budget calculation.
