Background: I am 36 Singaporean single, salary 5/mth. Parents own HDB flat (joint tenacy) 200m from the 5 room resale flat I am buying. They do not owe other properties. We plan to stay together at the resale flat and rented out their flat. Already done HLE, valuation, resale checklist and exercise OTP. Now submitting resale application online.
I will be taking the 15k single grant. At the HDB resale application form, section F,2.on eligibility for proximity housing grant which say can get proximity housing grant for single citizen $10k,... "Special Conditions: Please include your parents in this application as co-applicants or occupiers. At least one of your parents must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident."
So am I eligible by just put my parent names as occupiers even though they own HDB? What condition? they need to stay with me for how long? Thks.

my interpretation is that since can put them as occupiers, not co-applicant (co-buyer). I did not read anywhere that says the occupients must sell their HDB flat or must not own HDB flat.
