I rented out my entire condo unit to 2 tenants (both girls), and just before signing the TA, the rental agent informed me last min that the fiance of one of the tenants wants to be listed as occupier as they want to stay together while waiting for their BTO flat. After a bit of back and forth, I agreed and signed the TA for a year's lease, with the original 2 tenants and the fiance (guy) as occupier.
Fast forward, I've sold the property with the existing tenancy agreement - OTP has been signed, my bank has submitted notice for redemption, just waiting for completion. My purchaser has been trying to get access to the property for inspection, via my agent, but the occupier guy keep coming up with excuses from allowing them into the unit. He gave reasons that they are all at work, or covid cases on the rise and they were concerned, or he outright ignored the requests from my agent.
What recourse do I have in this situation? I am currently located overseas, with a 15 hour time difference between here and Singapore, hence communication has been a bit troublesome as well.
