How do I buy a Resale Flat in Singapore as a Singaporean even if I'm not married, above 35 years old or an Orphan. I really need a very long term and cheap solution which buying a Resale is the best option and renting for me is not an option

The regulations do not allow your profile to purchase a resale HDB at all, therefore your only option is to look into private resale units, perhaps a single bedroom apartment. There may still be options available in the $650k range.

Hi,

1) You are right about renting long term is not the best solution due to its instability.
2) HDB flat is definitely the cheapest solution compare to others. The availability of HDB flats in Singapore is the most welcome policy Singapore had in the world.
3) However, the HDB policy is in line with the government is to encourage marriage and give birth to more citizens to provide a sufficient workforce to grow our country.
4) Therefore the policy is such that only those above 35yrs old single are allowed to purchase an HDB flat.
5) Orphan scheme is available to address those that born without choice to be able to have an easy way to own an accommodation.

Hope the above answer to your main concerns, but if there are more query, please feel free to contact me at 90110636  , or email: ling.ck7@gmail.com if more information is needed.
I'll be glad to assist.
