Hi there, I will advise you to obtain an in principle approval from banks to find out how much can you loan due to the MSR/ TDSR. Normally new EC are priced cheaper than new private condos of about the same size that are in the same area. Difference between them is that: 1) have to fulfill MOP for EC before you can sell while as for private, you can sell it off anytime but will be subject to any seller's stamp duty if any.
