Hi, the contract on the lease of my HDB flat is ending in 2023. The 3-year contract was done up by both owner and tenant, then, without a property agent.

This time round, however, I plan to get an agent to prepare the upcoming 2-yr renewal contract. with my existing tenant. Please note that the agent has no part in finding the tenant.

May I know how much agent fee I have to pay in this case? Thank you.

Fees are to be agreeable between the client and agent therefore there is no standard fees. Rather I am not sure why do you have the intention to bring in an agent in this scenario given that the original lease and conditions of property is not known to the agent, therefore if you intend to have the agent represent your interest in any tenancy disputes, it can get quite tricky in this sense. Or are you only looking at having the agent do up the paperworks instead of also putting their signature on the agreement?
