Hi
Recently i had engaged an agent to exclusively market my hdb flat. No problems have arised so far, and we managed to sell our flat at the price that we wanted.
We are now searching for a flat and now, we realise that mostly agents are not willing to co-broke with your agent and usually, other exclusive agent are also more eager to sell their house to direct buyer.
In the midst of searching, I found (on my own) a list of property and had called the agent directly. However,after that, out of guilt, i asked the agent to call the seller agent and ask to view the property. After viewing, I realised that my agent was not so keen to negotiate that flat for me; despite knowing that we both liked that flat..
Will it be unethical if I go directly to the seller's agent, since i know it would be at my great advantage?
I feel bad though, cos my agent is quite a nice guy..
