Hi My husband is a PR, and i'm holding LTVP are we eligible to buy 5 years old Executive Condo?

Hi Valli,
1) EC beyond 5yrs old are eligible for all Singapore Citizen & PR just like any private property.
2) HDB rules and regulations over family nucleus and age does not apply to EC that meets MOP.
3) You are eligible to buy EC that reached 5 yrs old.
4) Buyer Stamp duty (BSD) & Additional BSD rules still applicable in any property purchase.

SC and SPRs are eligible to purchase resale ecs that are below 10 years old.
Thus you guys are eligible to purchase solely under your husband's name which in turn be better because additional buyer's stamp duty applicable is 5% rather than buying a private with you at 20%.
