Hi I'm currently in this situation.
1. My dad is a single parent when I (21 then) joint name with him to apply for a 'Reoffer of Balance' Flat and got one 3 room flat. The flat was paid with down payment using both my dad and I CPF, but I'm the one financing it 100%. We are both the owner and co-owners in the hdb page.
2. House has now MOP and we are going to sell it.
3. I am getting a resale with my boyfriend.
I want to understand, do I still get to enjoy the benefit of a first-timer despite me having owned a hdb with my dad? Will HDB give me the grants offered to first-timer? I saw that 2022 hdb pushed out the HFE and grant changes and read somewhere that if a child gets a hdb with the single parent, he/she will not be treated as a second timer. Please advice, thanks.
