hi, if i engage the same agent to sell my current property and at the same time, source a new property for purchase, does this mean I have to pay him or her commission twice? coz I'm 1st the vendor and subsequently the purchaser? Tks.

Afternoon,

Sales of your current unit and purchase are two different cases. If you are looking at new launches or purchase of private property, you are unlikely required to pay your salesperson commission for purchase. However, if you are buying resale HDB unit, you are required to pay the necessary. Do note that commission rates are to be negotiated between you and your salesperson.
