I owe a hdb in TP for more than 20 years and would like to purchase another private condo for either investment or personal use. Now living overseas.
Like to know if I could continue to keep my HDB for rental while I purchase another private condo. Also, how much mortgage can I loan for 2nd property and term of mortgage since I am in my 50s.
My plan is to buy a new launch and either keep my HDB as rental or sell it upon TOP when I return to Singapore. If I am unable to obtain a loan for the 2nd property, could do bridge loan before TOP and have time to put the HDB in the market.
With the new cooling measures, i am not sure if I qualified and also the max I could borrow for the 2nd property.
