Hi, I have been renting my current hdb for 3 years. Last August during the routine air con maintenance I was told by serviceman that the master bedroom unit power sensor is faulty. I was still able to use it for a short while after that in which I could no longer switch on and off the unit. I was then told by air con company that my model is over 10 years old and might not be able to secure parts for repair. I informed the landlord and he said he will look for companies who can repair. I waited 3 months but no follow up from him. Meantime I manually switch on and off air con unit. Now I contacted landlord again and he then said he will repair it. What should I do if I still haven't heard from him? My tenancy agreement stated anything above $150 the landlord will cover the excess. It seems like the landlord is delaying repairing and also did not want to replace with new units even when air con company advised him it's not worth repairing as the parts are old. Please advise. Thank you.
