Hi, i have a qns regarding EC if i bought EC after 5 years i can sell to PR & Singaporean only right? i saw a posting regarding after 5 years can upgrade meaning i can buy another EC then sell my current EC. How about cash out part? if i want to live there can cash out money? My EC 2 bedder with 2 bathroom within my salary together with my wife as our salary combined nearly $6000 per month. We are planning for our kids school fees & etc.

Upon meeting MOP for your EC purchased directly from developer, you will be ineligible to purchase another brand new EC immediately.

Hi,

I believe you have some misunderstanding with regards to EC rules.

It is NOT true that you can buy another EC while still holding onto your current EC. Your upgrade probably means upgrading to a bigger private condominium or a landed house?

You can only purchase another EC, earliest 18 months after you have sold your current EC, provided that you have not utilized 2 times subsidized housing.
