Unfortunately, SPR won't be able to get a resale HDB under your own name and under joint name, you will need to form a family nucleus and be SPR for 3 years. You and your brother's daughter won't be eligible.

Have you considered what is the best option for you? With the rising price in resale HDB, will it be better if you actually consider a private property?

Alternatively, you may wish to consider private housing instead.
