i am married with 2 kids and currently staying in a 4A HDB flat in tampines with my mum. this flat was bought under my mum and my name. it has an outstanding loan of $148,000. my wife and i have the intention to rent out this flat and buy another condo to stay. as there is outstanding hdb loan, we have to fork out 40% cash + cpf instead of 20%. is there any way my wife's cpf can be utilized to clear the loan before we embarked on our condo buying plan or do you have any suggestions??
If you have met the MOP, you may use your wife's name to purchase the private condo and being her first property, it will be entitled to 80% loan.
