Are you on LTVP in SG? If your husband can apply under Single's Scheme, it will be simpler. Otherwise if he is purchasing under foreign spouse scheme, you are likely required to relinquish your ownership in the serviced apartment in Malaysia and wait out for 15 months period before he is eligible to purchase a resale HDB. The best is to check directly with HDB on this.

    I am under Work Permit. Is it the same as LTVP?

    From my understanding, if my husband applies a BTO/ Resale under Single’s Scheme , I, as the wife, is able to maintain my ownership of my property in Malaysia, is that right?
My Answer with regards to your Question:

If you're on LTVP in Singapore, and your husband can apply under the Single's Scheme,

However, if he is purchasing under the foreign spouse scheme, you may need to relinquish your ownership in the serviced apartment in Malaysia.

After relinquishing ownership, there's typically a 15-month waiting period before he becomes eligible to purchase a resale HDB.

If he's above age 35, he can purchase a resale HDB flat under Single Scheme, before marriage.
