Hi Maine,

(1) As long as your parents able to use their CPF/cash or loan to return to your CPF, you are safe to remove your name from the title deed.

(2) No selling is needed to activate such changes.

(3) Need to engage lawyer to assist in this.

Hi,

To remove your name from the ownership, the remaining owners must be able to finance the loan on their own means after you exit and also to refund the 56k CPF OA you have utilized for the property.

Hi Maine,

If you were to remove your name from the existing HDB flat, your parents will have to refund you the CPF monies ($56k+accrued interest) that you had already paid towards this flat. They can either top this up using their current CPF-OA, or in Cash.

There is no need for them to sell the HDB flat in this case.
