Renting Property

Hi Gurus. I'm interested in one of the apartment in D15 listed on the newspaper by an agent. If I were to walk-in direct, am I subject to commission from the agent? From what I know, agent(rep landlord) will get 2mths from landlord and 0.5-1mth from the tenant for a 2yrs lease. The agent did not do anything for me and yet I have to pay commission to him. Is that correct?

Hi Eric,.commission is still payable regardless of the rental amount. it is one month + 7%gst for 1 to 2 years lease. half a month for less than 1 year lease. Do drop me an sms or call me if you need more clarification.Thanks.
