Hi Guru,
I have sold my flat this year at jurong with cash proceeds of over $90k. We had used the entire sum to pay off bad debts and losses that we had incurred.
Need your advice for the situation as follows:
1) our combined income is $9440.
2) we have tried to secure a loan from banks to purchase a resale flat but our attempts were futile.
3) We have about $200,000 in cpf combined and even with this amount we cant buy a flat outright.
4) We tried looking at rental options but the prices seems really inflated at the moment and if we were to commit to rental, it will take us a longer time to raise funds for COV
5) We have tried to appeal to HDB for a loan but they have rejected us outright.
We really need advice on how we can get out of this situation and possibly get a place of our own really soon.
Cheers
Lim
