Hi ,
both of us are SPR. going to fulfill 3 years SPR status next year Jan. may i know when will be the good time to start searching for resale hdb?

our combined monthly income is around 6.5k. we have a total of 93k cpf, 60k cash. no debt obligation. is this sufficient to buy 500k resale flat or 4 room resale at tampines area?

Perhaps this year early Dec will be a good time to start. Yes 500k you do have a number of 4rm options at Tampines. Any particular blocks you are keen on? I am active in the east area and have done transactions at Tampines and also worked with SPR buyers before. Will be glad to share more on the best approach and financial plan and timeline.

Good afternoon,

Based on the details provided, you should have more than enough fund for purchase on unit amounting to S$500k. You will be able to settle the ABSD and 5% down payment with the cash that you have. With good credit record and income status, you should be able to obtain around S$460k loan. As Chinese New Year falls on mid Feb, it might be good to start the hunt after it.
