Hi Vinod,

You have to do your own price comparisons between new launches and resale developments in the area you are focusing at.

Buying a new launch, there are much more chances in capital appreciation as for resale units, you will be able to see the actual unit rather than some development models and floor plans.

Oh well, as you are a Singapore PR and as long as you fulfilled the schemes applicable to EC (same as HDB) eg: public scheme. you will be eligible to purchase a new EC or resale.

If resale EC, you can keep your current HDB. If new EC, you have to sell off your current unit.
