Hi all, can i sell my hdb with
Date of application 2004
Date of purchase 2012 ?
I bought this resale flat in 2004 when my ex-wife is 20yr old. So i am the sole owner and she is the occupier. In 2011 we divorce. Hdb called me saying i am not able to own the flat since i am 1yr below 35. So i ask hdb to wait till 2012 when i am 35 and let me keep my flat. They accepted my request. And i stay till now. Wanna sell now but when i login into myhdb flat info , it stated date of purchase 2012. So can i still sell it? Will the 5yr mop apply on me base on the date of purchase?
Thanks alot

Hi Dennis, I would suggest you write in to HDB to seek it's approval as it is the best source to advise you whether you can sell your flat. Thanks. Catherine Pang- DWG. 96804288 . Read More

Evening Dennis,

I had deal with similar case for my sellers both in Ubi and CCK. I manage to get approval for sales and waiver on SSD payable, based on the HDB application date.

Do contact me further if you require additional assistance.

Dear Dennis,

To my understanding, you are likely able to sell your current HDB, subjected to Seller's Stamp Duty if the recorded date of purchase is 2012. The best solution is still making a visit to branch office to clarify the whole situation because I had a client who is in similar situation as yours whom divorced with husband back in 2013 and got sole ownership to the HDB they used to co-owned. She was eligible to sell the HDB subjected to Seller's Stamp Duty as she confirmed with HDB after our conversation.
