Hi Agents, in regards to the Tenancy Agreement, if the Landlord adds in a new clause and the tenant does not accept the new clause and he sticks with the original agreement, does he have the right to have a refund of his deposit if the deal does not go through? Likewise if the tenant wants to add in a new clause and the Landlord decides to stick with the original agreement, does he have the right to forfeit the deposit if the deal does not go through?

Good afternoon, If both parties can't agree on the terms in the TA that means the deal is off, landlord should return the good faith deposit that comes with the LOI. Hope it helps!
