Hi,

For HDB, refinancing to bank loan is possible, but you can't unlock cash while doing so. If you need the sales proceeds, it will be good to explore selling it. Thanks and may I have more details so as to value add to your housing plans further?

Dear HDB owner,

The encashment portion which you have mentioned is not part of refinancing, but what many people termed as equity loan. Unfortunately, HDB is not allowed to be used for such purpose therefore the only solution you have is to sell the current property and purchase another with your financial calculations done.

Why are you looking at such an option if I may ask? Perhaps there could be other solutions if I know where you are coming from.
