Good morning buyer,

You are eligible to purchase a resale HDB just that you will require to dispose off all your private properties based in Singapore and overseas within 6 months from purchase completion thus I will advise you to purchase a private property instead.

Reason being that if you purchase a resale HDB, you will require to fulfill minimum occupation of 5 years before you are eligible to purchase private property again.

By the way, do you mind sharing the thought of purchasing a resale HDB?

Hi,

Yes you can purchase resale HDB, but you need to dispose all your private and overseas properties after getting it. Probably not the best option for your plans. Perhaps I can understand your plans better and value-add with other recommendations? Thanks and let's discuss further.

Afternoon Yvonne,

Should you opt to purchase HDB unit, you will be required to remove your ownership status on all private properties in hand. With that, you would not require any financial institute to provide you with the loan to facilitate the purchase on the HDB unit.

I would not suggest that you purchase a resale HDB as current the existing regulations, you will be required to dispose off all your private properties within 6 months from the completion of the HDB unit.
