Hi Sir,

If you are purchasing a HDB flat, and need your Wife's income for your home purchase, you will need to wait for her to turn PR so that you can take up the loan for the purchase. If your income alone is sufficient, you may proceed to purchase anytime now under "Non-Citizen Spouse Scheme", even before she gets her PR.

If you're purchasing a private property, you can purchase it anytime, whether or not she's PR, be it under your name or joint names.

Do take note that you will NOT be liable for any ABSD if you purchase the property solely, or under joint-names with her.
