If you are referring to resale HDB, typically after OTP issued by you the seller, it takes approx 3 to 4 months to process and for legal completion date to happen. The cash proceeds will be received on legal completion date.
It is possible to negotiate for extension from buyers so to stay beyond the completion and hand over later.
