Introduction and Location

Located at Grange Road, this is within walking distance to the prestigious Orchard Road, home to key attractions of the city, major Hotels and shopping districts, this development acts to connect its residents to a lifestyle of entertainment and productivity, while providing residents a space for rest across a metropolitan urban landscape. Intensifying these factors, critical amenities includes a 25m lap pool with see through glass with integrated Jacuzzi and pool lounger, while having others like hanging cocoon loungers offering relief within close proximity of city life.

Values and Inspiration

Sensitively positioning each volume and line across the architecture of the Grange Road 74, the project brings into existence a contemporary interpretation of luxurious living resonating with the textures of urbanism – articulated as an aggregation of crisp glass blocks weaving newness into the residential typology. Juxtaposed with the contexts, the residence also offers lavish interiors for guests or a restful weekend. This is accompanied by the many facilities offered for a meaningful time of relaxation from the metropolitan lifestyle

Ethics and Responsibility

The main ethics of the Architects was to create a renewed environment, iconic in design through carefully thought out design whilst conserving existing elements on site. The raised units above ground assists to allow for more landscaping and activities for all residents, while maximizing vantage points from the residence. This is complimented with a clever treatment of edges that define its architectural spaces bringing a new vision to existing communities while integrating a new environment and lifestyle to the existing.
