There are various advantages of living in a condominium. They include:

Good location

Condos are usually located in well-developed neighbourhoods. This means the developments are close to lots of amenities such as schools, restaurants and eating establishments, shopping centres, hospitals and clinics, and even tourist attractions.

Security around the clock

Most condos, especially the new developments, have security features. These include gated and guarded residences, 24-hour security, auto-gate, and CCTV systems.

Maintenance provided

Condo developments are regularly maintained by the management hence infrastructure, facilities and surroundings are well-maintained. Owners pay a monthly maintenance fee for such services.

Top-notch facilities

Most condos, especially the new ones offer a wide range of facilities for the convenience of residents. Facilities may include swimming pools, a jacuzzi, sauna, BBQ area, gym, fitness station, tennis and squash courts, a putting green, clubhouse, function room, meeting room and covered carpark. In addition, condos are often nicely landscaped.

Condominium association

Every owner automatically becomes a member of the condo association and community, with its own elected board. The elected board acts as representatives and are the ones to liaise with the condo management on issues such as maintenance and monthly activities.

Possibility of en-bloc

This is probably the best advantage especially to property investors. The entire condo development is put up for en-bloc sale and the owners gain more profit than if they were to sell their units individually.
