Jurong West town, now an industrial estate, was initially a region dominated by low hills, swamps, and thick jungle. Jurong West HDB estate is located in the Western region of the city. Jurong West covers an area of 9.90 square Kilometres. The neighbouring regions are Pioneer (District 22), Boon Lay (District 22), Taman Jurong (District 22), Jalan Bahar (District 24), West Coast (District 05).
