Waterbank at Dakota

Comparing the units here to the recently launched Katong Regency, the apartments here are defintely not that attractive anymore. A 550 sq ft one-bedroom unit starts from S$950,000 at Katong Regency which is at the heart of the new Paya Lebar development from the government. Katong Regency would be on top of the mall with all amenities and would look modern.

Here for the same size units people are asking for the same price or even more. Reading reviews of the Dakota Residences next door, it seems it is very noisy here when the planes fly by to the Paya Lebar Airbase. And also, the whole area still looks very 'HDB'. I would definitely consider Katong Regency now and was initially thinking of buying here. I recommend this building for:

Took a walk along Geylang River opp Tanjong Katong last weekend. The location is very good. The best units are those facing the river, low-rise houses and greenery. No traffic here so its very quiet and clean. MRT entrance is only 200 metres away.
Park connector along river leads to stadium, Kallang river park and Marina Barrage. 2 very good schs nearby.
I think the place will be very good for families with children. I recommend this building for: City Living, Outdoors & Activities, Families with Children and Peace & Quiet.
